Here's a clip from the lotus, there is more pressure on the driver in the lead if you watch both videos you'll see.

I've been hearing that the standard V3's ride pretty harsh on the street, which is really untypical for the V3 in most other applications. If comparing them to stock, how would you rate them in comfort and harshness compared to stock?
when you say "bad" spring rates, are you refering to the 8/9 application with them being to soft and a poor front to rear stagger? i know about that, and i've read (i think it was GTworx's post) that the spring rates are better selected from a performance standpoint for the X application.
The problem is, I wanna have my cake and eat it to. I want an improvement in handling (doesn't have to be the best handling coilover in the world) without sacrificing ride quality (don't want any harsher than stock) and I really don't wanna spend over 2k... from my online bench racing research it seams thats to much to ask for without spending 3k or so...
Are the KW's the Robispec versions or the standard V3's?

Yes they are the Robispec Versions of the KW V3 Street coilovers.
There are more harsh, I think any coilover would be more harsh than the stock suspension.
When I'm on the track there too soft, but still streetable. There must be a compromise if you want stiff suspension you have to give up a little or alot of comfort. I would say I gave up a little comfort for alot of grip.
On a scale of 1-10:
10 being harsh 1 being soft:
Stock suspension - 5
Robispec KW V3 Street coilover's - 7.5
The handling of this car is amazing in stock form, I still wanted more so Robi V3's it was. If I could do it all over again I would go with something a little more stiff, if there were more grip to be had. Most people want huge numbers like 400-500 + HP, I think 335 AWHP is enough for a Intermediate driver like myself. It's not more power that will make you faster, it's more finesse that takes more practice.
If you don't plan to track the car I would just get lowering springs and be done with it.
How's it going in Fed Way, raining I presume. I lived in Renton for a while, got tired of it moved back to Cali. I would wash my car in the rain sometimes it gets that bad.
Peace out man

thats for the input, yeah, it looks like springs will be my option since i don't wanna dump 3k on coilovers...
lol, well its not raining *right* now... but it was coming down pretty hard earlier today...
