Hey guys, im really thinking of getting an evo x, 2008... ( i dont want 2009 or 10 for insurance purposes and higher price). Do the 2008's have any problems in them or defects? were there any major upgrades in the 09 or 10's? all the evo x's prices are at about 25k$ all havign an avg of 30k miles, can i usually find better or or those the prices?

 

Check the cars for sale on this forum, PB 08 for $28.6K with 4300 miles. I have an 08, but I have only put 8000 miles on mine. It mostly sits in the garage. As far as problems, depends on how you take care of it, and it will be very reliable. Hope to have you as a new owner.

 

No real problems on my 08. There were 2 MINOR recalls but its nothing to worry about (The latch you pull to pop the hood was redesigned and they added a bracket to a fuel line). There aren't any 09's in the US. The 2010 got a color lcd screen while the 2008's got a red lcd screen. I think the 2010's got newer side skirts too. That's pretty much it.

And +1 on checking out the forsale forum on here. You can find some very nice X's for VERY good deals.
