Hmm, the SE came with the rear spoiler lip, like the MR, not the full wing. Did somebody mod it? Do you have the SE badge on the trunk?

It still looks very nice though!

Thanks! Yeah, that is one of the first things that I noticed. It was definitely a swapped trunk with the release button (car does not have the smart keyless/FAST).

It only had some minor aesthetics that were removed (visors), otherwise, it is a well maintained/documented stock SE sans flaps and Hella supertones - mechanically speaking. I have some new Enkei shoes with Toyo rubber coming in tomorrow hehe. Perks of working in the wheel and tire industry =P

-sent from my Galaxy S7 Edge

239 of 340 Phantom Black all OEM, 41,000 miles,
optional equipment includes
"Premium Paint Charge" $250,
ACCY Chrome Package includes Ralliart Fluted Wheel Locks and Chrome Mirror Covers $259, and
ACCY Interior Sport Package includes Aluminum/Leather Brake Grip and Aluminum/Leather 6 SPD Shift Knob (SST)
Sticker Subtotal $36,824, Destination/Handling $760,
Total MSRP $37,584
I'm the original owner. Had a 2010 Mazda Speed3 and my wife (now ex) was complaining about having to shift gears, so I purchased the Evo and have loved it. Fortunately not my daily driver.

Same car but I'm 238/340. Bought used(2nd owner) with 15,977 and Currently has 32,230. SST issue just showed up. Only drive it in days off from work, 2-3 days a week sometimes sits for a week or so. Never launched but don't know what the previous owner could have done.Magnet inside broke now lost even gears. Only option is to get a stage 1 clutch, tranny cooler and fork repairs. Estimated 4100-5500 in parts ands labor. Taking the news with a smile cause I love the car, it's a beast. I'm king of fdr drive midnight Saturdays in NYC

Wish Jack Transmissions or SSP did vehicle pickups. Trusting Racing Results in Long Island NY since they did prestine work on my 9 SE over 6 years ago.

Ugh, sounds expensive. If it were my car I'd get it repaired for sure. Don't think you can beat the price to performance hardly anywhere. Good luck!

Yeah I knew about this even before buying the car. Not as expensive as a new tranny with the 60% possibility that it can happen again. Things like these happen when you least expect it; Murphy's Law.

292/340 Phantom Black. Took 7 weeks to get the info via email from Mitsubishi, but well worth it.

Is there ANY way someone can acquire one of those keychains so long after the SE's release?

Not likely, unfortunately, unless you can find one used. Check out post 389 on this list. I wound up with two letters and two keychains, so the whole process seemed somewhat random.

If anyone with a WW wants to adopt my extra keychain and letter...not sure it was the number your car was issued, but...
