+1 on the dunlops; basically they outperform any tire in the blizzack line.

Hey, no never seen you around but hopefully will soon. I was looking for a IX at first but it was hard to find one that I liked and one that was clean, so I decided to just pick up a X even though I didn't like them much at first.

Yeah, that is what I was first looking at aswell, but after searching for almost 4 months with no vehicles that I liked, I decided to just pick up a new X. I've read many posts about how important maintenance is for these cars and I didn't want to spend 20k+ and then have to fix someone elses problems. And I must say I am very happy with my decision, the car is amazing. Good luck to you and hopefully you find the right car for you.

Thumbs up Early xmas gift

Lucky you! Nice car. I love the ww. I got a Phantom Black, that's the only color they had in gsr trim. I wanted the ww too. As for winter tires, I bought a set of blizzak ws 60. I am in Alberta, Canada so winter tires are a must. I find these tires excellent on ice and decent enough in deep snow(wide tires kinda float on top of the snow). I love turning off the tcs/ayc(hold down button for 3-5 seconds). Mash the gas and drifting and getting the car sideways while accelerating is a feeling that just can't be beat! The speed rating of the ws 60's are only 170 km/h. But its winter! I have hit 190km/h several times. There is a safety factor in there thank god! These tires are truly amazing on icy roads. I travel on the highway every day to and from work. I usualy travel at about 160km/h on icy roads and the car tracks straight as an arrow. They are probably the best tire you can buy for the price. I did alot of research on the "winter tire" topic. I paid $1350 CAD at my Mitsu dealer installed & balanced. If you think you like the car now! Wait 'till you get a tbe, intake and tune! Enjoy your ride bro.

i'm gonna have my X on Jan 3 or 4. i got a good deal at the stealership, but i had to settle for the older X GSR 5MT (2009) in RR. i wanted either the OB or the GG, but i'm starting to get used to the idea of the red X!
