Did you think about selling it privately?? You will get alot more with such low miles and fully loaded.

That offer is really low, you'd be better off selling it to a Mitsubishi dealership or privately.

I would never sell my car to carmax or any dealership. I'd say private is the way to go if you don't mind putting in a little effort and don't need to get rid of the car right away. My previous car was an 05 rsx type-s that carmax offerred me 9k for. I ended up selling it privately for 12.5k in about a months time. To me, that extra effort and time was well worth 3.5k. Now I can use that money to dump into my evo x!!

I ended up selling my car to CarMax. Previously, I tried the private route. To be honest, the folks calling, emailing, and showing up were making ridiculous offers; some were way below CarMax. People love to barter, no matter what the price.

In my opinion, CarMax made a fair offer.

With the current offers from MMCA, 0% interest for 60 months or rebates, it's difficult to get top dollar for a pre-owned 2008 or 2010 Evolution. Just my opinion.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

When selling my m3, carmax quoted me 11k. I ended up selling it privately for 16.5k. Well worth the time and dealing with idiots.
