I have someone interested in buying my 05' MR, completely stock, 54k miles, good to fair condition. Scuffs on the dash from having 2x4s in my back seat, and the front bumper fasteners need to be replaced and are ziptied in place after hitting a deep pothole snapped the plastic fasteners.

I got an offer of 19k, but didn't really know the value of the vehicle. Its completely paid off, and I don't really need the money but could just get another car I guess if the price was right. The guy said the car is rare, and among the hardest to find Evo due to it being the 05' model (dark grey).

Thoughts?

For the miles and condition thats a good deal on your side I would take the cash and run.The Graphite Gray Evos are not that rare the rarest colors are Yellow,BBY and red.

you should take the money thats a great deal on your part and in this market it make it even better. I have a 700hp evo with over 45k in and I cant even get 25k.

Doesn't it also matter what area you try to sell? I don't know if Kelly Blue Book is very accurate but in my area, your car would have a private party value of about $21K.

There are people and dealers asking for big premiums. They will be holding on to them for a while. There is a guy trying to sell his 06 for $25k. I told him that same person can look at a 08 for the same price.

Yes, I know the 8-9 is different than the x but most don't care. They just want an Evo.
