Hell, I'd let my WW 05 MR w/ 25k mi. go for $19k. It's not "for sale" but, if someone offered.
Sounds like you're in the same boat as me. I like the car but, if it was a no hassle sale. I'd let it go.

The OP's car is stock. Your car has been gone through over and over; it's been modded and re-modded, and re-modded again (at the risk of sounding like Yogi Berra). The only real similarity, relative to its placement in the marketplace, is the model designation. I don' mean to pick on you, personally. This happens every time a thread like this comes up. Folks come here for information. Let's at the very least compare apples to apples.

if it is stock, as in oem stock, 19K is very low price. but since you said it is an 05 MR, it doesn't have the mivec the 06 has and different seats, etc. if somebody offers $23k I'll take it.

I missed his car being 100% stock.
Meh, stock or modified, I've seen 100% stock cars that are pretty ragged. Rust, nothing maintained, engine bay looks like it's been mud bogged, poor compression grinding transmissions filthy/torn interior, door dings scratches... If it's used, it's always buyer beware in my book. Just because you don't modify it doesn't mean you take proper care of it. The most extensive modifications my MR has had would be exhaust(s), fuel pump, re-flashed ECU, H&R springs. Now it's back to original stock with exception of springs, fuel pump and rear spoiler (it was replaced under warranty due to the clear coat issue). I'd still put it up against any 100% stock car in terms of compression, corrosion, proper fasteners in their proper locations, bolts torqued to specification and service intervals. For all anyone knows a stock car could have been back to the dealer several times for various problems.

I don't think you were pickin' on me. Just making a point. It's all good.

I should have said, I believe value hinges on an inspection of the car and what the buyer is willing to pay.

The 05 MR was a "limited" run. They only built 1000-1200 of them in 05. With the 06 IX MRs, they built as many as they could sale.

Also, the GG color was only for the MR in 05. In 06, the GG color was available for the MR and GSR
