I went to a recent taping of the upcoming Top Gear USA show, and a 2010 Evo X GSR was featured as one of the cars. As seen in the trailers, Tanner Foust (one of the hosts who is popular for his participation in Formula Drift and also for his recent YouTube video drifting his Nascar V-8-powered Scion tC through Mulholland Dr.) drives it through tarmac, gravel and snow terrains (obviously choosing the proper S-AWC setting) all in one drive. It was pretty entertaining, to say the least.

Can't wait for the series and glad to see Tanner doing it. Probably one of the nicest formula D drivers I've ever met.

 

Definitely, even as they were kicking people out, he took some time to chat with me. The producers turned the lights off in the studio, but he still kept talking with me rather than the usual, "Well, it looks like it's time to shut down" response that I was expecting from a host. Really nice guy.

 

It was filmed in Mammoth, CA. It just rips through the snow going downhill (practically alongside some skiiers). After the show, Tanner said that the car just had Blizzaks.
