Fall 2010.. don't know an exact date. But the hosts for the show look retarded. They'll never compare to the British version. =/

Can't beat the real Top Gear!

 

Don't think any TV program will ever compare to Top Gear UK, it's such an all-around great show. The trailer for the US version wasn't too bad, so hopefully it'll still be somewhat entertaining.

Can't wait to find out!

 

Carolla isn't in it any more:

Earlier this year they'd announced they'd try again and moved it to History, substituting comedian Adam Ferrara for Adam Carolla, and Rutledge Wood for Eric Strommer. They kept Tanner Foust.

I like Adam Ferrara though. Good actor, energetic. Should be interesting. And Foust, could they have got a better person? The guy is in my mind, one of the best drivers on the planet.

With that being said, I think it's a shame they are copying the UK version. The UK version is on a whole different level than any other TV show. The chemistry between everyone there is spot on. The american version will never come close.

 

I just hope it's better than top gear AU

 

It already is. They don't have the accent lol.

 

It will never compare to the Uk Top Gear, but I'm def willing to give it a shot. I'm sick of watching reruns on BBC!!!

That trailer makes me NOT WANT TO WATCH the American version of Top Gear. It looks so lame. It possible... even lamer that the Aussie Top Gear!

They should just air the British Top Gear all over the world... and call it a day.
