^^ Agreed! Over here, they'll only do like 70MPH TOPS and drive like nannys. You can't beat good ol' European drive it like you stole it mentality. $5 bucks, Top Gear U.S. last 1 season,,,, Max!

if they are trying to get the UK recipe of the show they will always be compared to the original. Tanner Foust is a good choice and they should get somebody who is a race car driver as well as a popular star(no, not Tom Cruise
) but the guy who always test drive the cars during the weekends-forgot his name and would invite guests for his shows and they would do a track racing? Maybe the King of Nascar(Petty) or a female driver. just to lend an amercan twist to the show.

I'm not so sure that the US media moguls can spot and name three recognizable faces that actually know how to drive fast and want to. How about Jay Leno on the show? At least he knows cars and how to talk to an audience.... I'm not setting high hopes, but I'll give it a watch. If they don't routinely drive horizontal, I'll go back to watching the UK reruns.
