They did start shooting top gear (usa)
they had some uploads on the top gear website

 

his white X has a wierd setup. small wing but does have the projector headlamp housings, but non-HID. its like they had a base X and added only the headlamp housings off the SSS package.

 

No it actually the non-SSS headlights. It's a base GSR with no packages

 

That might be the UK Stig. The US one is pretty short (I saw him on Sunday at the filming) and while it's not impossible for them to use a different one, the Evo that they had for their use was a red X GSR, which they had filmed a segment with and was also parked outside of their studio. Also, the US Stig has a slightly different outfit.

 

"Some say he was there to scan the track with his laser vision and that he was seen racing lizards across the start/finish line in a Corvette Z06, but all we know is the Stig " LOL !!!

 

At least he's not driving some bullcrap Corvette, LOL.
Just kidding, but great to see him in an Evo!

Haha...what a tease. Isn't there more than one "stig"? There was a rumor that Michael Schmaucher (sp??) was the stig but I don't know what happened to that.

 

There was an article that revealed who the stig really was.

 

Wonder what he was up to...

 

That was just for one episode, because he was piloting his own Ferrari FXX around their test track. Either he didn't want anyone else driving his personal $1 million car, or perhaps Ferrari doesn't allow owners to let others drive their FXX.
