I try so hard to make sure no one parks near me. My gf hates when we go somewhere since I always park a mile away lol. The people I hate the most are the ones who park near you in a wide open parking lot with a million spots open. If there is one tiny scratch I am going off on their car! lol

 

Man, I thought I was the only one that parks all the way in the boonies and walks to the store....my fiance complains until I just started dropping her off and parking whereever I wanted and meet her in the store....

 

Spoke with parts at the dealer today and the price is $325 out the door for the mirror and back cover. This is probably going to be my best option for now.

Like most of you I'm a far parker and will always come out to a jack@55 parked next to me.

It sucks that you try to have a nice car that you are proud of and someone else always ruins it.

^ Been looking for the past day and everything that I've found cheaper is un-painted. Will continue to look until I get sick of not having it. Then I will probably go to the dealer and spend the money just to get it in hand.

 

When I drive my dad's '11 Camaro I always park 500 miles away and someone will end up parking next to you no matter what.

Just this week we were at the grocery store and parked all the way in the back, some truck driver parked like 5 spots down, then backed out and decided to come park right next to us. I almost wanted to slap him.

It's funny that this topic is current. Today I went to the gym... and made sure to park way far away at the back corner of the parking lot. There was absolutely no cars anywhere near me. When I come back to my car... I find an Audi parked like a foot away from me! I cannot figure out why in the hell... of all the spots available (half the parking lot) that person parked beside me. I was so ticked off that I actually wrote a note and left it on their car... I wonder what they thought when they got back to their car.

And if you are wondering why I'm so paranoid about parking there... this happened at the same gym... different section of the parking lot... but same property.

I would want to press for charges and ask for capital punishment for that or simply shoot them in the knee caps so they remember it.

On a side note... Im paranoid as hell when it comes to parking my evo. I literally park in the far back corner of any parking lot and make sure at least 1 side of the car is about 1 cm away from a concrete side and this way if something is really gonna happen to it, i literally cannot be more cautious except not parking the car which isnt an option as its my DD, 1 and only vehicle. I saw a 1500 (give and take) pound lady come out of a minivan beside my car the first week I got the evo and i almost **** myself because from the angle I saw it I saw the minivan lifting about a little bit and the door looked like it was in my car... But nothing happened and she didnt hit the car...

The car I had before the evo thou... someone left a lovely hit and run to the part above the mud flaps as they were pulling out of the parking space... I almost went to Miami and find me a witch doctor to curse em...
