i know everyone and their mom is infatuated with the sst but
cmon, give the gsr some love

 

do you think that if they got the same driver to test both the GSR and the SST the GSR would win? i mean it depends on how good the driver is with a manual, but say they got The Stig to do it on Top Gear, which one would win?

 

no, on a track sst with all other variables the same will be faster than manual. same for all the other automated manuals - dsg, dct pdk, etc etc. manuals are still faster than traditional torque converter automatics though

 

faster than sti, shouldn't be a surprise!

It's a darn shame. Both companies are making their models more soccer mom friendly. In a couple years the Evo will just be another hybrid.

 

Wow that video is awesome, I really hope that they will keep the rivalry between evo and sti, and continue to improve and compete with each other.
