Torque Damper, Anyone running one?

Hey guys, I'm just wondering if anyone has tried one of these in their x. The reason I ask is because I notice on my car when I push the clutch down during hard driving I sometimes hear and feel the engine dive forward. I used a damper on my 8 but was wondering if this is the best way to go for the x without too much added vibration such as you would get from poly motor mounts.

thanks

Not sure there is one for the ten, front engine mount makes a difference though

You can try it, I personally think you'd be better off with a front engine mount though.

^ Agree front engine mount! The front engine mount will hold the torque better but be a bit viby. Where the torque damper doesn't control as much torque but not as viby. it is a trade of between the two and what you really want.

In my experiences an engine torque damper is a bandaid solution. The engine needs to move somewhat during normal operation. Most of the dampers are rigid with a plastic bushing inside that allows almost no flex. They also tend to transmit excessive vibration to the chassis and cabin. A better solution is some polyurethane engine mounts.
