I bought my 2008 Mr with 15k and paid 29k. I would say something is def. wrong. Can you run a carfax on it and find out? Seems pretty shady.

 

Well the carfax they provide shows everything checks out fine. I dont get it either and now someone is saying they are the one that bought it. I just want to know if they are messing with us or if that is really true.

 

I have a hard time believing they sold it for that much. That's just unheard of. I've been looking for MR's from 2008 and you'd have to tag about at least 8k. Lets see if the poster claiming he purchased it for that much actually posts pics or comes back and says he was joking

thanks guys i will be having a build thread because this deal saved me over 15 k lol. so why not spend it in mods?

 

were there any mods done from the previous owner or is it basically stock

I call BS on this guy!


1. He say's he's from Chicago. For the past 3 months we have had snow. No way in hell was it that clear outside anytime within the last 2 weeks.

2. He's in the market for an Evo so he might be trying to get you guys away from the MR so he can get it.

3. The car that was for sale had a front plate, his pictures don't have the front plate bracket nor the holes that would be there!

4. The pics he posted show an MR with a lip, the one on autotrader does not have one.
