Looking to buy 2010 Evo MR Touring, west coast
Hey all, I've been running my modded 2005 WRX Wagon the last few years. Looking for a change in comfort and paddle shifting, MR Touring looks to be a good choice. If anyone has any leads or input on a good used 2010 for sale on the west coast throw it out, I'm in Oregon. Been searching around for weeks, there are a few out there, makes me think either people are holding onto them, or not that many were sold. I've driven an 8 a few times, good sporty car...also, you X owners with paddle shifting, liking it? I've driven a newer M5 and the paddle shifting felt superb!
I've had time behind a paddle equipped E60 M5 and speaking strictly about the transmission, the MR is superior. The gear changes seem faster and smoother both on upshift and downshift. Tthe automatic Sport and S-Sport logic in the SST is superior as well. However, comparing stock to stock in terms of raw speed and aural pleasure, well V10 > I4
Good luck on your search of a MR-T.

Seriously, been looking all over the west coast, and only 1 MR touring, located in Portland area, for 45k...ouch, about 2-3k above Mitsu's listed price....is it really that rare of a trim package? Shouldn't there be a bunch of these in SoCal, I need to search more I suppose.....
