Motor Trend 2011 STI hatch vs 2010 Evo X SE
That sounds like it would be a great comparison. All are great: the Evolution lineup is fantastic, and all come with fantastic performance and grip. Performance comes standard; preference and options are optional.
But if all were in comparisons, the only loser would be the Sti: losing two back to back heads up comparisons in motor trend and road and track in the same month to the sst evos probably doesnt make Subaru happy.
Nicely done Mitsubishi!

Loved my 2008 MR and love my new 2010 SE. I feel like the TC-SST's reprogramming, lighter weight, and wing delete give the car a much more spritely feel. The MR by comparison always give me an impression of the weight I was loading up into corners. I can't wait to get some mods and retune on this thing
(next week!)
(next week!)
MOTORWEEK did a segment on the 2011 STI this week. It was SLOOOOOOOOOOOW. 0-60 in 6.X, quarter in 14.X. It was embarrassing really.
I found it.

Exhibit A: "Well, for 2011, Subaru has added a sensible hatch to the STI stable..." *****, Subaru added the hatch in 2008.
That article needs to be put in a spam box.

I wonder what size the drivers were to not like the seats for commuting or longer drives.
I'm not a fat body but not skinny either and find the seats perfectly comfortable for daily driving and road trips. I drove 3k miles in the Thanksgiving week, between North Alabama and Southeast Texas, was perfectly comfortable.

This is real world conditions. Yes, maybe a pro could get the max out, but for the average joe, this is what you should expect. They complained about the clutch, which really hampered the performance.
Yeah but that review is pure garbage really. If you read through it you'll notice outright wrong info, not to mention that the writer seems to have the rex and sti confused.

The 2011 MR (base with no options) is basically a 2010 SE with BBS wheels... meaning GSR interior and exterior. Then the next MR model up (Premium Package or something) is basically a wingless 2010 MR.
