Quick question about headlights?

Guys just have a quick question that I needed a quick answer to. With the halogen lights on the EVO X do the low beams stay on when the high beams are activated or do the low beams go off while using the high beams. Thanks for someone's help in advance!

Yes the low beam stays on when you flick the high beam on. Best way to confirm is to go outside and turn your low beams on and flick the high beams on and go look lol

from what I remember reading, the Evo X has little shields on the top of the HIDs, and when you turn the high beam on, the little shield moves up some. So they go higher but the lowe beams dont change. So the low beams stay on because it uses the same bulb. Thats what it looks like on my car

this is how the projector headlight assembly works, and you described it perfectly. it actually feeds no difference in light at all, just moves a shield so the projector can shine at its full potential without blockadge. where the brights are at on the halogen light assembly, is where the DRL lights are at on the projector assembly. the halogen DRLs double as the low beam since they're halogens, obviously. you can't have DRL with an HID
