From X MR to X GSR.
Im planning to trade my 2010 MR to a GSR. What do you guys think? Anyone did this? How did you like the GSR? Its going to be my DD. Thanks
Do you have experience driving a manual, and just don't like the MR? If you can afford the hit then go for it. Just note that you will lose some luxury I guess going from MR to GSR.
If you have no experience with a manual car, I have to say you probably don't want to learn to drive on a 37k car. Sure it can be done, but clutches are expensive.

I would do it. I love the manual and while the MR is a great I personally think the experience of driving a 5-spd is so much more of a real driving experience.
Yes, I have spent a fair amount of time behind the wheel of both GSR and MR.

Iirc, philamthebest made the switch from an mr to a gsr. I think he ran into a bunch of issues with the dual clutch not being able to support his power goals. Look up his threads for more info
I agree that a 5spd is a great way to experience a car, but as a DD a 5spd in traffic sucks. Most of my life I have owned stick shifts, but I bought the SE because I did not want to work the clutch in stop-and-go traffic. I love the SST and how it is the best of both worlds. I am not planning on crazy power, so that was also a factor.
