2010 Evo X SE for Girlfriend?
I dont think she wants the gsr, sadly. I havnt heard anything but great things from the sst trans. Keep in mind, this car will be BONE stock till the 60k warranty is up. If it were mine, it would get modded, but she will keep this bone stock. She wont be tearing the car up either. Driving spiritedly every once in awhile, but nothing to beat it up. YET.
So you're basically looking at $2800 off the out-the-door price on the car? Have you considered shopping the sale to another dealer? Find someone else with a similar SE, send them the particulars and see if they will meet your price.
Yea , about that. They just came down so fast on sat with the payments, I figured they would drop a bit more. Tonight, over the phone he got down to 440 a month. I am very proud of my g/f for standing her ground and saying 415 a month. She put a $500 deposit on the car on sat to hold it. Well, tonight she asked to have it back, so maybe they will get scared of losing the sale and come closer to what she wants.
We have been looking everywhere! I think this one might be the only one in Illinois! lol
I even contacted the guy I got my evo 9 off of in MN. He is a salesman at a mitsu dealership there. He contacted dealers in his area and couldn't get his hands on one either.

This also means Mitsu isn't paying that dealership anymore for that car, so they are desperate to get rid of it. Even though it's an Evo and will be a sure-fire sell to the right Evo shopper, they're losing money everyday on it. Just keep doing what you're doing for a day or two and they will surely strip any profit off just to get rid of it. Don't wait too long though, you never know - don't lose the car over a few dollars per month! Advice from a Mitsu salesman insider haha, good luck!
I sell Mitsu's as well in Houston, TX, and it's mainly the problem that Mitsubishi doesn't pay managers for any 2010's they sell anymore. They just count as a unit, so there's nearly NO incentive to try and dealer-trade a 2010 SE for a sale.

I wouldnt be concerned only about the payment, because they can get her a lower payment with an higher interest rate and in the end you will be paying a lot more...
Interest rate right now is 1.9%, which is actually pretty damn good. Then she always sends a separate payment for "principle only" on all her car loans. So if we get them down to 415, she is gonna send an extra check for $35 extra every month. This in turn, will knock the interest out and pay the car off in approximately 66 months or so.
Doubt it. 03 evos with 100k are still selling for 13k. Her evo in 5-6 years will have roughly 70k on it, I dont see it being worth anything less than 15k once its paid off. Thats if, it keeps its value like the previous evos have.
I have never been upside down on any of the 3 evos I have had, 2 were financed for 5 and one for 6, the current is for 5 right now.

My girl has done her homework. She started searching every mitsu dealership in illinois and found 4 more se's! So she is competing with all of them for the best deals now. One way another, she'll get one!
She is playing with 3 different dealerships on 5 different se's now. So somewhere in there, she will settle on a deal. There is a white one, 3 phantom black ones and then a gunmetal grey one. She is hoping the WW one will come through! Me too.
