AMS (GM) 3 port solenoid wiring?
AMS (GM) 3 port solenoid wiring?
I know this is a novice question but bare with me I just want to make sure I get it installed properly. There are two wire to the OEM and aftermarket 3 port solenoids. Does it mater which wire goes to each lead of the the 3 port solenoid? I purchased the AMS solenoid kit. My title may be wrong. This may not be the well referred to GM solenoid but it does have an automotive OEM part number on it. Anyway, I also purchased a connector so I don't need to cut into the OEM harness. Before I insert the terminals into the connector I want to make sure polarity doesn't matter.

AMS three port solenoid
My title at the top of this thread is probably wrong. This may not be the well referred to GM solenoid but it does have an automotive OEM part number on it. Anyway, I highly recommend the AMS three port solenoid. I was using a manual boost controller and experiencing large boost spikes. After installing the AMS boost control solenoid and tinkering with the map to get it dialed in with the great people over at AMS I have much better control of the boost.
