Hey everyone i just installed the hks bov for the evo and i have a question... whats the pros and cons for not having installed the recirulation kit? are there any negatives? should i get the kit? any input would be grateful =)

 

what year is your car and is it tuned

 

its an 08 and untuned i have a full turboback exhaust with hi-flo cat UICP and the BOV

 

Well with a untuned car it need to be reciruled because the ecu will throw fuel back to the car for the "air" that should be there. If it bogs down after the bov goes off ea. slowing down at a light in neutral. I dont know much about evo x but it should be able to be tuned out if this is the case to my knowledge its all up to you I dont see any gain or loss in it.

 

I have an 08 X that is untuned. I also have the HKS ssqv vta and its working fine. no irratic idle, no bogging.
