It's a seat...sitting in it won't hurt it LOL

Put some Scotchguard fabric protector on them and vacuum regularly; they'll stay looking new for a long time. My old IX's seats still look nearly brand new at over 60k miles. My S2k seats were flawless @ 47k miles when I sold it. My X seats @ 15k miles look fine so far too. I'm not a small guy either...6'3" and ~210 lbs.

i once rented my passenger seat to STi, and i put Lancer seat. : )

are u one of those people who buys something nice and then locks it away until it suffers death

 

instead of doing that...why not just buy some seat covers?...haha...i bet some ugly seat covers would beat having the ugly lancer seats...

this idea is illconceived my friend. The seats are one of my favorite things about the car and its what you sit in every day when you drive it lol

 

are you going to wrap it in plastic and not let anyone sit on it like my grandmas couch?

 

if youre that worried about daily wear on them, just have them reupholstered

 

trust me i would so do that lol plastic wrap them like grandma

 

Are the rear seats interchangeable as well in the 08 evos and lancers?

 

You always have to make sure you get a proper seat cover because of the side airbags.

I have also been wanting to change out my seats. Not because I want to keep them pristine. But because I am pretty fat and find these seats very uncomfortable.

 

I'll trade my Ralliart Seats for Recaros anyday
