MPG screen

Is it normal for MPG numbers to reset everyday on 2008 evo gsr?

I think mine resets every time the car is turned off. But I dont pay much attention to it.

It's normal, the MPG is supposed to reflect your current 'trip'.

it'll reset after the cars been off for a few hours. i think its like 3 hours or something like that

.....almost got it.

mpg resets 4 hours after car is turned off.

same on all '07 on up japanese built mitsus.

IIRC, you can set it to reset on power off, or with the trip reset.

You can change the settings so it doesn't "auto reset".

Its under the settings screen, you have to change AVG from like A (automatic) to M (manual) I think.

Good info, not sure if I want to be reminded of my MPG with gas at $4ish a gallon, but good info.

What Mpg's are you getting? The most I got is 20.9 mpg on highway with average speed of 59 on a trip of 700 miles. Around city, it's around 13-15

lmao same boat buddy , everytime i take my evo out for a spin its about 30bucks - full tank gone. around 4 1/2 $$ / gall
