monkeyfish76's Evo X build

I have never started a build thread on here because I was mostly stock. I finally decided to go with some bolt-ons and switch over to the corn juice. I am a noob when it comes to tuning and Golden has offered to help me, so thanks in advance Golden.

I will start with the few mods I already have:
1st mod was like most others, tinted the windows.
2nd cat delete pipe
3rd was I painted the inside of headlights

4th was CNT racing exhaust
5th was tinting the tails side markers 3rd brakelight, reflectors, fog lights.

6th I painted the factory gsr wheels and debadged the trunk.

7th was a dyno tune at the bday bash at MKC, I have had a an Idle issue since the tune. Nothing major just hangs sometimes after I go WOT and resets when I shut the car off. I don't drive the car in the winter and mostly drive my Jeep during the week.

Winged warrior is coming up so I wanted to get this issue fixed before that event. I decided to buy a tactrix cable so I could attempt to fix the issue myself instead of driving 8 hours to MKC.

Next I got some new wheels xxr 522,s and got some conti dw's.

I received my tactrix and figured out that I need a wideband as well to get any logs. (Clear example of my noobness)
Last night I decided to go ahead and take it to the next level. I ordered an AEM wideband gauge, Turbosmart BOV, ETS CAI, and I'm trying to decide between dw1000's or FIC1100's and I'm leaning towards the FIC's. I will also need to order a bigger fuel pump like the walbro 255? I hope thats enough if not please chime in and let me know. I will be ordering the injectors and pump tonight or maybe early this week. I'm also looking into an intercooler and uicp I just cant decide on which one yet. I'm gonna rock the stock turbo for a while then maybe go to a green or a red. I am really excited to see what its gonna do with these new mods I'm hoping to see close to 400whp.

Got rid of my cheap chrome lug nuts that I had to get when I ordered the wrong titanium lugs...yep I'm retarded order 12x1.25 instead of 12x1.50. I installed my new titanium lugs and I had some daylight left so I installed my Turbosmart BOV...So far so good idles well, no flutter and sounds real nice. I might go back outside and try to install my wideband now.

I finally decided on springs. I ordered a set of H & R sports, I really like the drop on the other X's Ive seen with them. I also picked up a set of ID1000cc injectors.

Don't you hate baking your headlights? I put Halos in my old Lancer GTS. Sticking those things in the oven was....well....unnatural feeling ha. Looks good though!

I was a little nervous about it but enough people had done it successfully so it eased my worries

Keep at it bro, it's always good to ask questions/dig up info before something happens and you end up regretting.

Mind i ask, whats your end goal? are you going to track the car frequently? or just spirited driving here and there?

Always remember not to go cheap, cheap sometimes ends up being expensive.

FIC 1100s for sure over the dw.
Run either the new DW300lph fuel pump kit, or the aeromotive 340lph kit. Skip the 255, you will quickly out grow it moving to a red or green on e85.

Also might consider stepping up a notch from the 1100s to something bigger for the future. You will hate buying parts twice later, trust me lol.

***missed the part of ordering IDs, good choice as well ***

If you havent already bought the perrin fmic, I would look closer to the ets, just a thought.

With those mods and an e-85 tune on the same dyno you should be looking at around 385-390 hp. I would be really suprised if you hit 400.
