Plasma direct - okadaprojects

What is your opinion about the plasma directly produced by Okada?
He used one of these pieces at Evo X?
We see a Dyno sheet using this type of product?

Interesting. IMHO it is going to cause issues with the ECU which regulates the coils.

stay with the stock coils, they are the best and the most reliable. There is 0 reason to change it, unless you are sponsored by them or you going to car shows.
When someone start explaining the product like, how shiny - cool and classy is the box, which hold your parts + how the stickers are placed etc, over 2 minutes in the 3.36 minutes video , that alone should raise the question about the product itself....

IMHO Rob

I have not proved their effect on the Evo X.
In the case of Evo 9 are useful.
We tested the Subaru STI and the effect was beneficial.
Someone who has tested the product on the Evo X?
It would be nice to be tested and monitored AFR and power on the Dyno.
A stronger spark can do harm.

Conceptually I like the, and Okdata make a well respected product but they are expensive and the oem versions don't seem to be a high fail item. I suppose, when my stock ones fail I might consider.

Stock coils are very good, are a big trend, comparing Evo9.
Okada expensive products offer high performance, but I do not discuss price.
I discuss their quality.
Who has used these products on the Evo X?

i looked at these very breifly for my viii but with the price being more than a non cdi COP i ended it there. i want to say they are like 700 for the viii ix. i ended up getting the ams COP and have been very happy with it. I'm not sure how the X is set up so it is probably very different from the ct9a platform

Good thing about forums, don't you think, that we can discuss performance and price, and quality, and I suppose, anything else that strikes us?

I think the point is that, irrespective of the quality or performance increase most people haven't tried them because they are expensive and the oem ones are pretty darn good.

Have you tried clicking the link that you, yourself, posted and then clicking "dealers"?

Of course I checked the list.
Unfortunately local dealer does not enjoy a good reputation in my opinion and more.
So are open to discussion with any other agent, and a recommendation from you is welcome.

Yeah, I should have known that. Well, according to their website, their main three vendors are in Japan, the US (west coast), and the Netherlands. None of these are close to you, with the main US vendor being the farthest, so I would suggest going to straight to the source in Japan.

Why not the Netherlands? Well, when it comes to all things international, I listen to and agree with Nigel Powers: "There's only two things I hate in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures ... and the Dutch."

ps. that last part was a joke
