I don't have a picure of the actual mount however, here is a link to the one I use.

http://www.amazon.com/Panavise-809-C.../dp/B000246ST6

This is the same mount that comes with the GoPro with a different adapter for the camera. I've tested it to around 100 mph and it works fine. I like that it has a screen and works as a camera for daily activities as well.

In regards to mount location, the first part of the video is on the driver side door, second is on the rear bumper, third is on the rear window looking over the roof.

Camera is waterproof for around 10 feet and I have tested it in the water with no problems. I've also droped it from shoulder height and it looks like nothing happened to it. If you purchase at best buy (not sure wether this is actually a good deal or not) they have their own 'protection program' in which I was promised that even if I drop it and it stops working they will replace it.

Pretty sweet for the price, and versatile. I might pick one of these babies up over lunch.

good deal, boss... Thanks for sharing this with the community. I'm sold. I haven't fully read the specs on the camera, but do you know off hand if it has the option to record at 24 or 60 frames per second?

that video was taken at 720 and 60 frames per second. I think the other option is 20 or 30 frames per second.... don't remember but it does 1080 and the lower one...

Hey adean12, I picked up one over lunch! Shot in in 720p normal, will try 60fps. Played with it with the kids, but seemed a tiny bit grainy. Will try to play with the settings more tomorrow.

Thanks for the info, bought one just before midnight

BTW, anyone have any recommendations on an in-car mount? I want to get some videos of myself autocrossing.

It's a great little camera and I should have mentioned, you need to have light for it to not be grainy. In the light the video is perfect though.

You can also use the panavise mount in the car however, I hang the camera upside down and flip it with software after that.
