Some video with something other than a GoPro
Picked up a Drift HD170 Stealth this weekend from Amazon. I got to say I'm really happy with the quality and the wide angle. Sound is excellent at least inside the car, I have not tried to mount it outside... I probably won't for now unless I can figure out a bolted on option. (Had a suction cup mount fail during an autocross, my vado hd camera ended up flying off in the middle of a slalom. Thankfully and amazingly enough no damage to to the vado's camera just some minor scratches on the case.) Once I figure out a sturdy way to mount it I hope to try a bumper cam view.

Random snapshot from a test video I took on my way to work.
The wide angle is pretty impressive though, mounted on my windshield just below the rear view with a suction cup mount, it can see everything in front of me and even both bottom corners of the windshield.

So we did a little test and tune auto-x school this weekend so I managed to get a couple of videos with the HD170. I have an issue with sound, something is rattling when I go over a bump and its pretty loud in the video, so maybe I'll get an external mic. The video however is great. Shot it at 720p 60fps and it looked flawless slowed down to 30fps. Video I posted is just the 60fps done at 30fps at 720p.
