I've decided that PDRs and Body shops will be part of owning a car I like. I just had 3 dents repaired with PDR. after the repair, it was like nothing ever happened. three days later, I noticed a new dent on the rear driver side fender. No problem. I'll wait for 2 more dents then get another PDR done!

Look up dent wizard and see if there is a tech close to you. also make sure they do not drill holes to access the panel.

i try to park near a kerb as much as possible that way there is only one side of the car that can be hit/scratched by another careless driver! rather than having people park both sides of you

Not true someone walking by could just see you own an evo be jealous and punch it. You are not any safer parking 2 miles out in the parking lot than you are near other cars. In fact it might just add to the HEY I have a bad *** car Look at it and how much I can stand out factor .But I do however agree that the majority of the general population might be as intelligent as a shoe lace and possibly even less considerate .

Not true, this is repairable without repainting, however it will never look the same. The dent is on a curve in the metal, and because of that when they ding it back out, the metal will have been stretched, and it will never regain its former curve like it had before. I have a ding on my car right in the quarter panel, right at the pleat, and i asked to get this repaired, and they wanted a arm n leg.

i guess u can have it look like crap rather then have a ding there.

Sorry I never got pics of the damage.

I must have misplaced my camera as it's not in its usual place.

Anyway, I decided with all the new damage I found that it's best to make a claim. Had an adjuster come out yesterday to get an estimate on the damage. It's looking like just over $1500 in damage.

So I'll have to pay my $500 deductible and move on with life. Hopefully nothing like this ever happens again (*knocks on wood)

Thanks everyone for the comments!

I've found that the door metal seems to be so soft that just my kids bumping it in the garage made small wavy dents along the top edge of the doors below the windows. Can't see it unless it's viewed from an angle but still frustrating.
