evo x rev with cam

hi guys

im planing to have full boltons on my 2011 evo x
but i want to ask about the cam shaft i want to use cosworth mx1 cam with valve spring so what is the SAFE rev limit i can increase my car or keep it to the stock rev limit ?

engine is stock

With the stock turbo there is no reason to go over the stock rev limit. That said, even with an aftermarket turbo I would not Rev over 8K without building the engine reguardless of the upgraded valve train.

Actually, by the time you hit the redline, you 'generally' aren't making anymore power (you're losing power). To find out where you're making the most power, is to take your car to a dyno and see at which RPM does your car make the most HP. That's pretty much your optimal shift point.

from the dyno sheets ive seen 7500 rpm is your peak and everything after that starts to drop so i would say 7500 is your ideal shift point.

Go to the track, do one run shifting at 7500 and then one at 8000....let me know how it goes....
