I know these guys are great with VIIIs and IXs.

Ironically,

Me and Jazket have both gone down the same path of owning the entire family of Lancers (08 Lancer, 09 Ralliart, and now 11 Evo GSR)

I will probably be following the e85 route...just need to do a little more research on the subject

Ahh you're right, they're Stage 2 E85 maps...that just means you need to buy a turboback exhaust

And how are you doing with mileage to the tank? any big decrease from 93 octane? just curious

Also I heard you can't sit the car for a long time (a month or more I guess) without driving it if it has e85 cuz stuff can corrode is that right?
Not too bad really, a few MPG less. But it's also cheaper and burns way cleaner.

As for sitting, i dunno about corroding. I know that its harder to start when its cold cuz it's a thicker fuel, but really, it's just great. I got the exact setup from Cobb to match their stage 2 e85 maps, and I couldn't be happier. When it's cold or I'm not near E85, I just flash it back to 93 octane and I'm good to go. I keep the Accessport in my glove box. It's my 3rd Accessport (1 on STi, and I've had 2 Evo X's). I tell ya man, great company.

You might as well just do it right, all at once. You can get a used TBE on here for ~600ish (i'll be selling one soon), and a used Accessport for ~350-400. Few hundred in injectors and pump and you are driving a very, very fast car.

Awesome!

Man... I might just have to do it right, all at once as you say then be done and continue on paying the car off lol

So a Magnaflow Catback, MAP DP, 3port, drop-in, upgraded pipes, and derkswerks pump and injectors I'm guessing right?

oh boy... time to calculate the total lol

So, if I want to tune back to 93 one day with my accessPORT, can I keep running whatever is left of e85 in the tank and then fill up with 93 before empty? I dont know if mixing it up is gonna be an issue

Doesn't have to be Magnaflow, i was just saying that cuz I'm selling one. Any Turboback will work. Turbo back aka "TBE" is a downpipe, midpipe, and catback. And yes you can, just make sure you're really low on the E85 or 93 when you switch. It's really a lot more tame of a situation than you'd think. When i put in my first tank of E85, i was expecting my car to explode or something when i started it. Nope. Idles exact same, but the exhaust smells kind funny.

yeah I was thinking of getting the downpipe and catback and leaving my stock cat/midpipe for now lol... but i dont kno if that'd hurt the tune more than help it

I was looking for 800cc Deatschwerks and I can't find them :-/ and I'm wondering what would happen if I run 850s and the stage2-map from cobb... it clearly says 800cc so I don't know if it has to be tuned strictly for 850cc injectors instead

also how much are you selling the magnaflow for? pm me pics

If you get tuned through Open Ecu, the stock Ecu can hold two maps. So, you can have an E85 map and a pump map.

You'd only be able to find the 800cc injectors used. The 800cc size was updated to 850cc about this time last year.
