no that is not poo, it is oil!this was after two regular days, and one autox session. the back side can didn't have any oil at all, not even a drop. this all came out the front side can.

sucks to know all that was going to unwanted places for the last 8 months :duh:

Catch cans are one of the best mods for your Evo next to a wideband 02 sensor/gauge which I need to buy soon!

^+1 I'm always on the lookout for a good functional catch can that won't brake the bank... not some hollow crap tank with an import tuner name stamped on it (caugh..rredy)

I found it. It's the other site. There is a member on there that became a vendor and started making them. From the looks of it, he isn't making them right now because he is moving or something, but will start again soon.

FWIW I got the Saikou Michi catch can (dual setup) for my evo 9, from the research I made and the reviews on it, seems to be one of the best catch cans out there

Yup, I tracked down both of those options, thanks for the info... I'm leaning towards the Saikou at this point.

xMR is on the "other" forum, he is moving but will soon be making them again. They are superior in quality, and i was able to empty both in about 3 minutes, and that includes putting them back in. there is a dump fitting on the bottom.

thanks for the comment about the nice engine bay, i have put a lot of work into it....now if i could just find an 08 valve cover...

mad sb, if you track at all you should stop looking for a good deal and hurry and buy at least 1 from someone! I couldn't believe how much oil came out from just one autox.

Anyone care to explain why we need the catch cans? Does hard g forces cause the oil to seep out the top of the head?

Thanks!

see the first post. that is oil that the can kept from entering bad places, ie turbo, intake mani.

when driven at stock power, and normal dd driving you do not need a can. get a few mods, tune, and hit the track at all and you need at least one for the front (pcv) and get a little harder on it and you should get one for the breather.
