I understand without an actual HID projector housing the projection and cut of isn't going to be clean, but how is the actual projection? Does the clarity look decent or is it just a washed out blur of bright light like the HID kits you see someone do on their 1994 Ford F150? (you know the ones, you have all seen them)

DDM's kits are from China as well.

(these are the ones i have)

I recommend taking off the front bumper, to install them cause it make life alot easier and allows you to route the wires better. You dont need to remove the bumper, just recommended.
I recommend running the HID off a relay, especially if your going to run a 55watt kit. You can get relay kits on ebay that are plug and play, which makes it really easy to install.
55w produces way too much heat for fog light housing. It could easily burn the housing heck even catch on fire. I think you are pretty luck that you didnt catch anything on fire.

35W 4500K here and they match the OEM projectors perfectly. They light up the sides of the roads and directly in front of the car very well.
