how much does 08 evo worth

hello everyone

i'm about to buy a evo X with 30k miles on, in the rally red color, with one or two mods minor mods.

lets assume the condition of the car from engine to paint is excellent, is $22k a good deal or over priced?

i'm new to the evo world, and hope to learn a little from the community.

thanks again

$22k is a good deal right now. I've been pricing 08's as of late. Anywhere between 25-28k. But hopefully prices will be dropping because 08's are now at the end of the three year cycle(leases, etc)

traded my 08 gsr with 66k miles and was priced for 20k flat, so 22k is a good deal for 30k miles

thanks for the input guys, well looks like 22k was topped by some offers, at least thats what the seller told me, he said the dealer will take it for 24k. so if i get it for 24k, i guess that's still a fair deal right?

also, compared to the e46 m3, is an evo more expensive or less expensive to maintain?

Maintaining a BMW is not cheap. Get the Evo. My neighbor has a E46 and complains about how much it costs to maintain the car. I think the only reason why his car still runs is because of the fact that he almost always has a company car as a take home.

I have an 08 GSR apex silver Non-SSS with 44k miles. Dealer offered 24,500 in writing this past saturday for a trade-in in NY.

I think you could definitely get a good deal. My X had a few dings on the door too.

e46 is a crappy car, maintenance nightmare, and they are slow too. Evo would destroy it in every way. Also, M3 modability is virtually zero.

I have been offered 26k from the dealer but my 08 only has 9k on the car. I can prob get 28k for the car if i sell it privately. So if you can get a nice evo with lower miles for around the price ranger you should be good.
