My MR gets 20-23 highway, 14-16 in the city full of hills and stop and go When I first got my car, I thought that something was seriously wrong with my Evo, but apparently 170-180miles when the low gas light turns on is normal. We're quite far from your average prius!

From my personal observation, it appears that GSR's get slightly better milage.

Have you owned a GSR? The 5 speed is geared so differently. If your driving highway speeds the MR revs so much lower... I would bet a steak dinner it's more fuel efficient

Haven't owned, but maybe I'll be able to tell you soon but it's just from me asking other people.

I can squeeze out 26 avg going about 60-65. The final gear ratio in the MR helps a lot I imagine. Also, I've had the car tuned by a well known local tuner which probably helps too.

i'm never on the highway, and average 15-17mpg around town.

if i drive like a grandma on downers, i can get 19, but that's no fun.
