I reserved a car which was supposed to arrive at a dealership the 18th of August, and magically is not there yet. I keep getting the run around and told it is "stuck in east coast customs" and I'm starting to get aggravated. I've put $250 down to reserve the car so it's mine as soon as it comes in, if it ever comes in. I have not been able to locate a car with similar options / packages (MR with sport + premium, black) near me unless I travel a long way.

Does anyone work for a mitsubishi dealership and have access to the system which shows the delivery schedule? I was just told they expect it on September 5th, but I have severe doubts since that is labor day. Just trying to find out wtf is going on here.

Perhaps the hurricane that just battered most of the east coast has something to do with it being stuck in customs?

 

yeah but it was due on the 18th well before the hurricane. probably going to be hard to find out exact date, just want the damn thing already

 

Take a Valium. The dealership isn't giving you the runaround. They don't get paid until they deliver the car and your $250, while important to you, isn't important to a dealership making millions of dollars.
