someone did not file paper work right? I would just walk right in, hand keys.... and walk away. They did same thing to me, ones. I bought the car- next day I got a phone call that i need to drop 1k more, where i allready dropped 5k down. i told them, i wont give you guys a dime! i will return the car back! hes like oh.....let me call you back. After few min i got a phone call, he says ok 300 more and i pay the rest, ok, I agree to pay 300 and fill out paper again- since i found a really good deal on the car, good luck man, also check their reviews, after i bought the car i check the dealer review and it was crapy.

Knowing Capitol Mitsu, this is no surprise.

It also wasn't a surprise to me when Stevens Creek Mitsu closed down.

They are notorious around here for their shady practices.

Just give the car back to them (they will lose a lot on it if they take it back), and do yourself right and buy from South Coast Mitsu instead (in SoCal).

Edit: Also, $37k is a LOT for a GSR, even if it's fully loaded. Is that including TTL? If not, you overpaid by quite a bit.

You see it wrong , you got a free week test drive in the Evo ! Be nice take the car back in pristine condition, and tell then you are very grateful for a complementary test week. You decided buy this car somewhere else, since now you fall love with it, but other dealer gave you a better price . Then just simply walk away with a smile on your face.

hey guys,

San Jose capitol mitsubishi is piece of shiit dealer where you can get things screwed up easily. I got my MR there 2 months ago and yes the experience was not pleasant. yeah I agree with most people here that let them know to come to your place and pick it up. In my opinion, they might just try to scare you or try to screw you over, knowing that you like the car and will keep it. I'm sure they work their butt off to get you a loan if they have to go pick up the car from you.

Uh i'd tell em your going out of town until the 10 day period is up that they have to undo the sales contract. Then there's nothing they can do! Other then come to your house and tow it away.

Which is a whole **** ****ing **** more info than you gave him.

+1 for another bad experience at Crapitol Mitsubishi. Those guys don't know how to run their business. My friend was very interested in a 06 IX MR SE that was advertised on their website. We called and they said to come in and check it out. Drove 1 hour to see it and they said that the owner's son drove it home and he was out of town. WTF kind of dealership is that?

Have them come pick the car up at your place.

BTW, i'm from San Leandro/San Lorenzo!

LOL I like it when you put it right Crapitol... Yes they always tell people to come in, we'll take care of you but truth is they have no clue what customer want. I call their service dept for some query and often get their general manager answer it with "come in, let us take a look and we'll take care you". well, I came in and they not even look at the car then give a **** high price estimate which I was so pissed why couldn't they give me on the phone.

enough of this crap, I think someone here may have a week or two of free test drive. how awesome is that.

looking on the dealer side, it was their fault in not checking if you are approve or not. they just assumed that it will be approved. it is a hassle for you as much as theirs. give the car back and not rofl. do your homework and get pre-approved first by the bank so these things don't happen.
