Just got my 2011 Evo X WW GSR w/SS .

Already in love... Great to be a part of the community!
Car I traded in, 2006 A4

Comparison of the two cars: (some of you may like to know)
Power: Although my A4 was stage 3, the way those motors are built I was only getting ~300 awhp on a GT30R (mostly due to the pencil-like rods. So was my audi faster than a stock evo? of course... but that's not something a few bolts on and Sean Ivey's tune can't fix. Also, the evo has so much more tq than my audi, and I love it for city driving. I had absolutely no power before 3500 rpm in my Audi.
Handling: I don't have to tell you guys how well the Evo handles...
As for the Audi, what handling? I used to be a strong believer that my Audi handled well... Then I drove the evo
I don't know what I was thinking. I think if I pushed the Audi within 50% of the Evo's limits it would be wrapped around a pole. Steering response in the Evo is superb. In the Audi, it doesn't exist.
Drivability: I actually find the Evo a lot easier to drive. That may have been because of the Stage 3 clutch in my Audi, but both drove well. The kw v3's were nice... and the Evo's stock suspension is firm and comfortable.
Exterior styling: Even with the amount of tasteful mods I had done to the Audi I feel the stock Evo still breaks more necks... Although I'm sure the ladies prefer the 4 rings to a Mitsubishi.

Interior design: I won't lie, Audi has some of the best interiors out there. I think the Evo compensates for this greatly with the Recaro seats, and the nice steering wheel (I have to have a nice steering wheel for some reason) and I love my music so the RF system does well to meet my needs. And I can always add a navigation down the line.
I don't think I'll miss things such as heated seats, a sunroof, etc, I barely used them to begin with.
So do I miss the Audi at all?
Short answer, No.
What I did is picked a nice, luxurious car like an A4, and made it low, attempted to make it fast (It sounded like a good idea at the time), and wasn't pleased.
Why?
Because it's not meant to be that way. It's meant for long comfortable rides, taking your grandma to the grocery store, etc... lol
So if you're a car enthusiast, and love performance, start with a performance car. Don't try and make a car something it's not... I learned from my mistake.
I can't wait to get started on the X!

You have a benefit. write a comparison review. I'd love to hear about how our sedan compares to another kind of luxury sedan. if you do I mean interior to the motor. we all know how cars are peppy, especially with a little tune and modding. but that audi probably rode like a cloud.
My audi was also lowered on kw v3's, stage 3 gt3071r, and a full 3 inch tbe. And I still fell in love with the evo. I'll post a comparison if more people are interested.
Thanks guys.

Welcome to the club
Id say you did well.
I was terribly disappointed in my a4. I kept it but its my wifes car now
How do you compare interiors? That was the major selling factor for me on the a4. Very "finished". Something you'd have no problem taking across country. The evo has to be a little rougher on your back eh?
