Not hard, given the $30k difference.

True there is a 30k difference in price however you can make up that difference really fast.

doesn't take too much to match a gtr:

Im guessing around $15-20K
You would only need ~$7,000 to match the GTR acceleration with a GSR:

A basic HDSS ACT clutch, cams, FP Green or Red, full TBE with HFC, AEM Intake, UICP, 1500 cc Injectors, E85, Tune.

My Evo X SE with only stock turbo, TBE with HFC, Injectors, AEM Intake, UICP, E85 and a tune does 0-60 in 4.0 secs without launch control--e.g. a slow launch

Using launch control I could do under 4 secs but I like my TC-SST too much. 0-60 in 4 is enough for me in a 4 door I paid less than $33k for, and that handles like a porsche 911

You gotta think more like the V8 guys

Drop the weight down to 32-3300 pounds
a 4.3 final drive with a revlimit of about 9k. Should get you to 60mph in first gear.
450 or so Tq Fp red or ef3 that comes in hard low would do the trick.

Thats for 0-60 times. Won't nab you the 11-flat easy. Thats up to the driver.

9k rev limit with stock valve springs? Really? That sounds crazy to me.

Then, most of the fastest stock car/super sport car are cheating nowadays. It is just shifting faster without error.

Sorry you entered the wrong thread, all anyone cars about here is straight line performance

Amazing how much engineering goes into Evos and GTRs but at the end of the day all most people car about is 0-60 and highway pulls.

I remember when the GTR came out it was originally going to be cheaper then the M3 (with a few options). Now for 2014 they raised the price again and even a 911 S is cheaper.

This helps the GT-R pull away a bit between every gear, and keeps the turbos in nearly full spool.
This is what happens in the MR and I love it :-)

The stock GTR needs to be properly tuned ASAP. The stock tune is too conservative, but it is understandable due to the prior tranny issues, i.e. launch control.

Just to clarify. I used to own a 2010 MR. I paid just at 40K for it brand new. I just bought a new 2013 GTR and it was about 50K more.
