Does this intake actually give any gains? I heard the stock intake setup was actually pretty good.

 

aem intake is actually pretty damn awesome. The only downside to is that choosing a LICP is PITA. I know the depo racing LICP fits and maybe the ETS one (i will be able to confirm the ETS one on Tuesday).

 

Do you guys know which has better gains, the ETS or the AEM? They both look really nice!

Im not sure about ets intake gains, but from what I read, aem adds about +/- 15whp untuned. Tuned, it adds about 30-40whp....at least that's from what I read.

Anyway, I have one and it makes the bov sound better recirc. And with the Cobb ap OTS map, I can feel added power...well, that's from the butt dyno anyway.

 

I'm going to get an ets licp also, so I'll find out too.

 

I found an old thead that did an intake shoot out between the works drop in, stock no filter, and the AEM. The AEM came out with really good gains untuned. For the price that is great.

 

Did you receive the package yet? If so did you get the carb sticker with it?
