i am doing a "same" on gravel covered pavement , with 225 width tires (max allowed in rally) with Rally suspension (stiffer for tarmac) after rain. You can see behind the car how the road is winding, not auto X but twisty for sure.

Looks like fun, I've haven't had the chance to play with my car in a place like that but I've attended the Dutton Rally with a friend in his 05 STi and it's great fun and a great atmosphere.

You will be fine! Just give in and try it once. Drive within your means and don't do anything that makes you uncomfortable. Build up to bigger things slowly at your own pace. Once you try it you will be hooked!

Gotta love the stock suspension!

I am on coils, and it still tends to roll a bit. Maybe that's just the grip...
