Would you consider buying a branded titled Evo X

So I found a smoking deal for a 2011 Evo X with under 200 miles on it. The only problem is it had been in a storm and had water up into the floor boards. They said they removed the carpet, power washed it, and changed all of the fluids in the car. Also, they said an extended warranty could be bought on the vehicle. The big kicker for me is that I live 500 miles away from the dealer and wouldn't have a chance to look at it myself. I would be open to hiring someone to inspect it before i commit though.

Would you consider buying this car ?

PS: Branded titles are ok in my state.

You buy a possibly flooded car and you are in for a world of trouble...

I would. If it has warranty u have nothing to worry about. A little water never hurt anyone!

Let that bake in the desert!

I probably wouldn't buy it unless there was a nice return policy and I was getting a superb deal!

They bought the car from an insurance company and all they said was that the car was involved in a fresh water rain storm where the water levels where high enough to get to the floor boards. They have the car listed for about the same price of a moderately priced base Ralliart.

"fresh water rain storm..." trying to make it sound all nice. I'd need to see it all with my own eyes.

well if they are going to extend the warranty for you, just make sure that its going to be powertrain and comprehensive, or else they may try to **** you over on something down the road.
in the end its your call. all cars go through a little rain once in a while, but if its one of the ones that was sitting in new jersey through the hurricane, i sure as hell wouldn't touch it
