I won't be able to make it because I have work when you guys have the meet. I won't be able to today but next time you come to west orange on the weekend hit me up.

By the way for fellow Jersey guys do you guys have snow tire for winter time or do you guys have all-season tires?

I'm on stock rims so whatever the stock tire size is.
I could care less about rim swagga and would rather spend the 2.2k volks on powder-coating/painting stock ones, getting bigger turbo to hit my 425whp goal, upgrading clutch/fly/cmc and a good tune.
Not to mention Jersey roads are horrible. Rt. 1 & 9 is a joke. I can't even bring myself to drop my car let alone worry about rim chips.

Lmao... Not for nothing, but I'm beyond that 425awhp goal. I'm just asking because I bought continental DWS tires also. Same size as stock which is 245 40 18, and someone told me that they bubble up very easily on the side wall during the winter time. They told me that I should've got the 245 "45" 18s instead. I'm just a bit concern if I got a bad buy. I live in Jersey also by the way. Our roads aren't as bad as NYCs though.

I never noticed any strange bubbling with mine last winter. I know we have soft sidewalls, but that's the tradeoff we make for running these no matter what size we get. Just make sure you pressurize your tires correctly. I'd be more worried about stalling in the winter due to numb/cold toes/feet and slippery/wet pedals than worrying about getting through the winter with these tires. Then again, I don't drive a like a a tool in the winter and play it safe since I live in a city area.

Cool beans then. I was just concerned about what a few people were telling me about those tires. Everything should be good then I believe. I leave all madman driving for the track.

I am running Bridgestone Blizzaks for the winter and they have been on my car for the past 2 winters. So all those major snow storms we had I was plowing through 2-3 feet of snow having a blast. They are amazing in the snow, great grip. Honestly if you live in North NJ pick these up, this car is too much fun in the snow not to have a good set of snow tires.

Get the Advans off as soon as possible they are deadly in the snow and ice.
