New Evo X owner from Jersey
Thanks for the input guys!! I'm thinking about putting all season before winter comes to see how it is and decide what i want to do for next season. I was leaning more toward Continental DWS here all season.
Quick question when was the first time you guys brought your car to dealership? I got in the mail to bring the car in when I hit 1000 miles to check if car has been broken in properly. I already passed 1000 miles and I wont be free till saturday. need opinion

Never got a letter that they wanted to make sure it was broken in properly. Honestly, that sounds like they are going to try to sell you on something.
In regards to oil changes I am kicking myself in the *** right now for not saving the article but it is on this site in the older gen forums. Basically people beat on their car for 8k+ miles without changing their oil and sent it to the labs for testing. It only showed the slightest amount of wear. I used to be all about 3k oil changes, but now I'm following the manual especially after reading that article.

Because winter is here...
I'd be more concerned about your tranny fluids. Notchy shifting. Difficulty getting into gear etc.
I replaced mine in the middle of my first winter because I just couldn't take it anymore. Everything improved and made driving much smoother for the cold weather.
Redline Cocktail (2 mtl and 1 mtl 90)
or Redline (MT-85) supposedly the same as mixing the above 2, but wasn't out yet when I did my flush.
