Smile My Evo X

Well, as many of you may or may not know, I was involved in a wreck a few days shy of a month now. I was rear-ended by a brand new Lexus IS 250 and full size ford work van. The car, is damaged but is fixable and is being fixed as of this evening. Me, well, I'm in a great amount of pain still. Back and neck never stop hurting. No broken bones from what the doctors could tell from the dozens of x-rays that have been taken. I have to go for a MRI here in a few days to see if there are and disc in my back that are messed up and to check all the muscles and so on as well. The upside is a good law-suit and goodies for my evo. Such as the AMS widemouth downpipe and test pipe and HKS Hi-Power catback exhaust I ordered today. Which was just a hundred dollars more than the two stock exhaust pieces that needed to be replaced. But, I'll post pics when I can and keep everyone updated as I can.

If it helps keep your mind off the pain, why the hell not
Sorry to hear, but glad your pulling through. Remember you only live once so take advantage of everything you can! Ladies may hate me for that one...

Lol thanks man. And it has made me feel a little better knowing I'm getting a few things I wanted to get for the car. But yea, I'm making it, but in a lot of pain.

O and I went today to the body shop to sign some more papers for them to do some work on my car. I went and looked at the poor thing and was talking to one of the older guys working on it. He said he was highly impressed at how tough the brace bar on the back is. He said he was expecting a loose flimsy one like the rest are. He said when we was taking it off and went to pick it up it was when he saw how tough it was. He said he hasn't saw one like that on a car in a long time. He said he has been working at the place for over 25 years and it really impressed him especially it coming from a import lol.

You guys think it would look good if I offset both of the mufflers a little?

its good to hear that EVOs finally overcompensated for the lack of impact protection on the VIII & IXs. and kudos to you for having a kick *** attitude through out your whole ordeal. hope you make a full and speedy recovery. deff post pics when its complete and maybe some on the thread of the ongoing repairs/improvements.
