I got a new lancer, and I am trying to lock the door by the physical key( not fast key). It only lock the driver side door without activating the alarm, is it normal? The problem is when I turn right to unlock the key, it only unlock the driver side without turning off the alarm. Therefore, it just keep horning after I open the door. My old car from honda and mazada can lock all doors and turn on the alarm simply turn the key to the left, and unlock everything when turning to the right. I think I need to know this in case the remote run out of battery.

 

Yea mine does that too. I have an 08 Evo X and since it has been getting cold there has been a couple times where my fast key won't work because the battery in the key fob is about to die and is weak. It kinda scared me when the alarm went off early one morning.
