Mitsubishi just released 2012 Evo X
Not true. Same use of aluminum as on previous models. I really wish they had lightened the car, but lightness=more money and Mitsubishi is not going to invest more money into a platform that will soon go out of production.
^ So, if that holds true, then where is the extra money invested into the X platform? Just because they upgraded the IX over the VIII does not mean that that the X will continue to "evolve".
I didn't say they did invest more money into the X, I was just pointing out that they did it with the 9 and it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibilities for the X as well...
You can get a fully loaded '11 Evo MR fully loaded with every option possible for about 42k. Then after TTL it'll be slightly more

^^ it's a sweet deal, I bought my last 4 cars using the program. The deal is really based off of the manufacturers relationship with Usaa and how much product they move. I paid a hair under 38k for my MR, the only option it doesn't have is the NAV.
I don't know if the 2012s are any different but when I went to look at both years they were priced the same.
good luck with your choice OP, your fine ether way.
