My CEL came on yesterday and Im up to date on my services. I have a AEM short ram intake and Ultimate racing exhaust. Just the muffler nothing past that. its a stock tune and 34 K miles. Any suggestions? Im going to have a code pulled and see but figured I would ask you more experienced guys.

You should get the code read, as your post seems to indicate nothing is out of the ordinary

It goes off after you turn the car off and then on enough times, I believe 5.

Do you have a heat shield installed for the intake? The heat coming off the motor and radiator will affect the readings of the MAF if the shield has not been installed. Also it is highly recommended to run a tune it you installed anything like an air intake on the car. The installation of the intake will cause the car to run rich and now that you have the exhaust as well you are extremely past due for a tune.

I say invest in a Cobb AP you can at least run a stage 1 tune and check/reset codes.

I had a P1235 MAP sensor plausibility code show up last week, but couldn't find any problems that may have caused it, other than the fact that it was fairly cold out (-14C). The code cleared itself the next day. Turns out there is an updated ECU flash available from Mitsu which fixes an issue where the ECU would throw that code without any real problem showing up. I've been running with the new flash for a few days, and I can't replicate the code. We'll see this weekend when it gets cold again.

If you see this code, bring it to Mitsu and have them reflash your car. Can't hurt to have the newest firmware
