That's great! Good for you! I think you guys with 8's and 9's should just get over yourselves! I have long grown so tired of posts like these! You would figure that you guys would have moved on now after four yrs since the X was released! I had a 8 MR myself, and my x is a keeper! It's just a more rounded car!

OP! Congtrats on your WW 12. Sorry for the rant!

Happy Holidays!

Matt

Nice. Thanks for sharing the pics.

I dont have leather in my '11. Leather looks nice, but it needs to be maintained, which I wouldnt want to bother with. Plus, leather is cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Only thing I wish I had is a sunroof.

little tip.. if your breaks are hot "do not" use your emergency break. it'll seize closed.

noticed in the picture you had the ebreak on while on a flat looking surface..

it's one of the first thing's they'll tell ya at a track day.. with city driving it can be easy to bring the breaks up to a high temp.

I actually have the SL package on my GSR and wish it just came with the leather and retained the aluminum roof. Don't really car too much for a sunroof, but always seem to get cars with that option. The leather interior really is impressive.

Hey guys, this is my first post... But after reading the last couple of posts I felt compelled to write.

After reading this thread, I went to the dealership and looked (and drove) an '12.

There are things that I like about the first couple of X's over the '12. Now, I don't know a whole lot about them, so please correct me if I'm wrong.

There is a white Evo X in my neighborhood, but I haven't been able to talk to the owner, so I don't know the year.

However, it's stick manual, has a lip on the trunk lid that extends out like a molded piece and not a bolt-on (no wing). Plus, the side skirts are a bit pinched in and not a big and wide as the '12.

Is this something that's stock from sometime between '08 -'11 or might this be a mod?

I admit I like the little lip spoiler and more subdued side skirts more than those in the '12.

Thanks/

Mine looks the exact same... except mine is fully UN-loaded LOL. I told the dealer to remove any options they have and give me the cheapest possible price
I just got mine in 2 days ago and I'm loving it. Although it drove me crazy to find the usb input ROFL. I'm usually not a fan of instruction manuals
