Question for Rally Red X owners!

Mods please move this to the appropriate section if this isnt it. But i have a question for the Rally Red evo X owners. I was wondering how much heat from the cops you guys actually get? the rally red is really growing on me. I know that red an "eye catcher" on the road but was just curious how much heat people actually get.

Thanks for the responses! and happy new years

no different than the other cars i've had in the past (silver and blue). what gets you noticed is the loud exhaust and the smell of gasoline (catless). also when the back of your car turns black due to the exhaust fume, that gets you noticed (again, due to being catless). i actually got pulled over for that exact reason. my car was getting so dirty that my rear plates were not reflecting the lights. cop told me to keep it clean and let me go.

Don't drive like a jackass and you won't get any attention at all. Of course, you'll also have to actually follow the rules when driving too. I've had the red for more than a year now and have never been pulled over. I have 5% tint rear and 35% tint front, in SoCal. It helps to also constantly look in the rear view mirror if you are gonna try to speed, and to follow the flow of traffic.

Like the above poster said, the exhaust is also what gets you caught. Might help if you look into stealth mods.

Everyone pretty much already said it. Drive right and you wont get any attention from cops... your more likely to get attention from Civics and STI's.

Just drive normal and they won't do anything. Oh and yea don't get a loud *** exhaust that just draws cops towards you. The exhaust that I have it the greddy spectrum elite and i love it cuz its quite untill I really get on it. But I never worry about a cop being behind me at a red light cuz it's not loud and annoying at low RPM's.

Zero heat, lots of attention from other sports car drivers though...

I actually used to get pulled over in the Ralliart often not once in the Evo... guess I just became a less-of-a-d*ckhead driver

also I have 15% tints all around and cops don't seem to care

I've been pulled over once, for my exhaust, that's it. I now have 600whp, really wide rims/tires that are illegal, open dump pipe with louder exhaust, illegal tint, no front plate etc etc.

Still...only once being pulled over. The color doesn't mean ****.

Havent had any issues, i think they have statistically proven that red cars do better than other colors.. so i think its a myth? Red is just eye catching i guess, as well as octane blue, rotor glow, etc.

Get more attention from the subies that are in the area. Never had a problem with the police.
